"Something felt off about the whole thing"
I wasn’t happy with the experience at all. Everything felt kind of messy and unorganized, like nobody really knew what was going on, or maybe they did and just didn’t care. I don’t want to sound dramatic, but the whole thing gave me that feeling like there was more going on behind the scenes than they were letting on. Either way, it didn’t feel worth it, and I wouldn’t try it again.

"They did the job right"
They mounted my skis exactly how they should’ve, that kind of basic care matters. First run felt solid right away, which is all I was hoping for.
"Sizing was way off for me"
I ordered snowboard boots from rockymountainskiandboard.com and went by their size chart, but the fit was not even close. Like, not close at all. I usually know my boot size well, and these felt at least a full size too small, maybe more. The sizing just felt way off, and the size chart really didn’t help me at all.
Shipping was fine, so no complaints there, but now I’m stuck dealing with a return, which is just annoying. It’s annoying because I followed the sizing info, and it’s annoying because I still ended up with boots that don’t fit. Maybe this particular product runs small, but the fit details weren’t useful. I probably wouldn’t order gear from here again unless I had already tried it on somewhere else first.

"I was all set to place my order..."
I was all set to place my order until the shipping charge showed up at checkout. It was way higher than I expected and made the whole deal not worth it anymore. I get that shipping isn’t always free, especially for larger orders, but this felt excessive for what I was buying. I ended up not ordering and would really like someone from customer service to look into it, because the shipping cost completely changed my decision.

"Just didn’t feel super confident in the help"
I ordered from rockymountainskiandboard.com because I was hoping to get a little guidance along with the gear, but the staff I talked to just didn’t give me a great feeling. I asked a couple of normal sizing questions, and the answers came back feeling a bit unsure, like they were sort of guessing instead of really knowing.
The order itself was fine and it did show up, so it wasn’t a disaster or anything. But with ski gear, I really want to feel like the person helping me knows their stuff, and I just didn’t get that here. Something about it felt off, so next time I’d probably check with another shop first...
"Decent prices, but not always the best deal"
I ordered some ski gear from Rocky Mountain Ski and Board, and overall it was a okay experience. The prices looked solid at first, especially compared to a few of the bigger stores I checked.
Once shipping and tax were added, though, the deal didn’t feel quite as good as I thought it would. It still wasn’t bad, just more average than I expected.
I’d say the value is fine if you catch a sale, but I’d definitely compare prices elsewhere before buying. Not a terrible experience, but not amazing either. 3 stars from me.

"Actually got helpful support for once"
I had a question about my order and didn’t expect much because I usually don’t trust customer service to do anything besides send canned replies. But they got back to me quickly, and the answer actually sounded like a real person read my message. It was clear, helpful, and made me feel a lot better about the purchase. No runaround, which was a nice surprise.

The skis themselves were fine, but the box arrived really crushed. The packaging felt really weak and didn’t seem like it offered much protection.

I was picking up some snowboard gear and came across a promo code that actually worked, which was a nice surprise. The price ended up being better than a few other sites I looked at, and checkout was really straightforward. The discount showed up right away too. Overall, I’m happy with the experience and would probably check them again for ski or snowboard stuff.

Overall, I’d say Rocky Mountain Ski and Board is decent if you just need the basics, but I wouldn’t call it amazing. I found a few solid ski gear and board options, and the prices seemed standard. That said, some of the sizes and colors I was looking for were out of stock, which was a little frustrating. It’s fine for a quick stop, but I wish they had a bigger selection to choose from.

"Return process was a hassle"
I ordered the wrong size and figured exchanging it would be simple, but it wasn’t. It took too long to hear back, and the return instructions were confusing. Like, really confusing. I kept thinking I had missed something because the steps weren’t clear, and then I was just waiting again for a response.
